Senior Account Manager

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our Greater China team in Taipei. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Clarivate products reporting to the Sales Director, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan region. We have a great skill set in Academia and Government sector and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in selling academic contents and data products.   

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments   

• At least 3-5 years of sales experience in the IT or technology industry, familiar with subscription or SaaS business models, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. 

• Experience in Account Management or Business Development. 

• Professional selling skills, experience in communicating and working with librarians and researchers   

• Experienced in utilizing analytical and office tools, e.g., cloud-based office tools, CRM solutions, Power BI etc. 

• Bachelor’s degree or above  

It would be great if you also had  

• Familiarity with Taiwan's academic market across higher education, government research institutes, and medical institutions. 

• Over 5 years of selling experience specifically in major academic publishing or research data solutions 

• Over 3 years in communicating and working with librarians and researchers 

• Experienced in selling products like Clarivate products 

What will you be doing in this role?  

• Acquiring new sales in the assigned territory 

• Expanding the customer base 

• Protecting the renewal business 

• Promoting all the Clarivate products to customers in the Academia and Government sectors 

About the Team    

Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan team is part of the Greater China team. We are selling all Clarivate products to customers in the Academia and Government sector, including academic contents, research data products, Software ect..This position offers an excellent opportunity to join the market leader in a fast-expanding field 

Hours of Work   

9am to 6pm Taipei time from Monday to Friday
