Secondary Engineer

Job Description Summary As a Secondary Engineer specializing in High Voltage Substation Control, Protection, and Low Voltage Systems, you will support the design, reliability, and technical compliance of substation control and protection schemes. Working under the guidance of lead engineers, you will contribute to the development of project documentation, participate in design reviews, and assist in continuous improvement initiatives, gaining exposure to industry standards and complex power system regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, reliability, and technical compliance of HV substation control and protection schemes.
• Working under the guidance of lead engineers, you will contribute to the development of project documentation, participate in design reviews, and assist in continuous improvement initiatives, gaining exposure to industry standards and complex power system regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college from Electrical Engineer
• Maximum 2 years of engineering experience in related activity/discipline in project & EPC type environment in HV substations.
• Up to 20% travel within MEA & Europe along with other countries/regions for short or medium period based on requirement.
• Strong oral and written in English

Desired Characteristics

• Basic understanding of HV/MV substation architecture, specifically regarding protection schemes, control circuits, and LV auxiliary systems (AC/DC distribution).
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and equipment datasheets.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong desire to troubleshoot technical design challenges.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document work accurately and participate effectively in team discussions.
• High level of accuracy in performing calculations and preparing
• A team-player mentality, comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance from senior engineers.
