SAP Cutover Manager

On-site Oudsbergen, Belgium

Scania Parts Logistics IT is looking for a new SAP Cutover Manager to strengthen our international team. In this role, you will work closely with IT colleagues and business stakeholders in Belgium, Sweden, Brazil and India to lead and manage cutover activities for critical SAP deployments supporting Scania Parts Logistics operations. Your workplace is based in Oudsbergen, Belgium, while collaborating regularly with colleagues within the global Scania IT and business organization. Some business travel is therefore expected.

The challenge

  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of cutover activities for critical SAP implementation projects and the general release management in maintenance environments.
  • Create and manage the overall cutover approach, consolidating input from team leads and project streams, and ensure alignment across Basis, integration, SAP functional areas, business stakeholders, surrounding systems, and AMS.
  • Drive cross-functional planning, hypercare, and post-go-live support activities, while keeping stakeholders informed and risks under control.
  • Provide input and back-up support in the area of Test management working closely with our Test manager.
  • The challenge is to ensure a smooth, well-orchestrated transition from pre-production environments to go-live and handover, across multiple teams and dependencies.

Your talents

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • You have experience working in business transformation, process development, system implementations, logistics, or other cross-functional projects.
  • Experience with cutover activities for enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, WMS, or SAP is a strong advantage, but not a strict requirement. More important is that you have a genuine affinity with IT and the motivation to grow your understanding of system landscapes, data, integrations, testing, and go-live preparation.
  • You are structured, detail-oriented, and able to keep overview in complex situations.
  • You can identify risks, follow up on open actions, and help teams work towards clear deadlines.
  • You are comfortable coordinating people across business and IT and can remain calm when priorities change or unexpected issues arise.
  • You communicate clearly in Dutch and English and can make complex information understandable for different audiences.

Our offer

At Scania, you will join an international and collaborative environment where you can play a key role in the successful delivery of critical SAP deployments within Parts Logistics IT. You will have the opportunity to lead complex cutover activities, coordinate across multiple business and IT streams, and contribute directly to smooth go-lives and stable transitions into operations.

You will work closely with experienced business and IT colleagues, stream/project leads, integration teams, business stakeholders, and AMS teams.

Together, we drive the development of sustainable and efficient logistics solutions for the future.
