We are looking for a Sales Operations Sr. Specialist to help drive the efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of our Sales organization. This role will partner closely with the Director of Sales Operations and sales leadership to manage day-to-day Sales Operations, improve processes, provide actionable reporting and insights, and lead cross-functional initiatives.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can take ownership of complex operational work, identify opportunities for improvement, and turn data into clear recommendations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across Salesforce, reporting, forecasting, sales processes, and cross-functional projects — while also being able to roll up their sleeves and get things done.

What You'll Do

Sales Operations & Process Management

  • Own day-to-day Sales Operations processes and workflows.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements that make it easier for Sales teams to operate effectively.
  • Develop and maintain scalable processes, documentation, and operating procedures.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to understand business needs and translate them into operational solutions.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for Sales Operations questions, issues, and escalations.

Reporting, Analytics & Insights

  • Own recurring sales reporting, dashboards, and business performance metrics.
  • Analyze pipeline, bookings, revenue, activity, conversion, and other sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Provide Sales leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure sales data is accurate, consistent, and reliable.
  • Help establish and maintain Sales Operations KPIs and reporting standards.

Salesforce & Systems

  • Partner with Salesforce/Systems teams to improve Sales workflows, data quality, reporting, and automation.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce administrative work for Sales.
  • Help manage Sales Operations systems, tools, integrations, and user requirements.
  • Support Salesforce governance and ensure processes align with business needs.

Forecasting & Pipeline Management

  • Support and improve the sales forecasting process.
  • Monitor pipeline health, coverage, progression, and data quality.
  • Partner with Sales leaders to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities within the pipeline.
  • Prepare recurring forecast and pipeline reporting for leadership.

Cross-Functional Projects

  • Lead Sales Operations projects from planning through implementation.
  • Partner with Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, HR, and other teams on initiatives impacting the Sales organization.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable plans and drive projects to completion.
  • Support organizational changes, new processes, and system implementations.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a B2B, SaaS, technology, or consulting environment preferred.
  • Strong Salesforce experience and understanding of CRM processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Experience building and managing reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with Sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfortable challenging existing processes and recommending better ways of working.
  • Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.

What Would Make You Stand Out

  • Experience supporting a high-growth Sales organization.
  • Experience with Salesforce administration, automation, or reporting.
  • Experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, or sales compensation.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing Sales Operations tools and processes.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with BI/reporting tools is a plus.
  • Experience in a Salesforce consulting or technology organization.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success means the Director of Sales Operations has more capacity to focus on strategy, leadership, and long-term planning because the Manager is independently running the day-to-day Sales Operations function.

You will be successful when:

  • Sales leaders have reliable data and reporting to make decisions.
  • Sales processes are clear, scalable, and consistently followed.
  • Manual and repetitive work is reduced through better processes and automation.
  • Pipeline and forecasting data is accurate and actionable.
  • Sales Operations projects move forward without requiring constant Director oversight.
  • Junior team members have clear direction, ownership, and development opportunities.
  • The Sales organization has a proactive operational partner who identifies problems before they become bigger issues.
