Safety, Health & Environment Manager - Supply Chain

On-site Rhodes, Australia

Position Summary

Are you a passionate leader who thrives on inspiring others, influencing culture and driving meaningful change? This is your opportunity to join a leadership team where your impact can make a real difference.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) across Nestlé’s Oceania Supply Chain network. As SHE Manager Supply Chain, you’ll play an influential leadership role, partnering with senior leaders to drive transformation, strengthen safety leadership, operational excellence and continuous improvement across distribution centres and logistics operations.

More than a compliance role, you'll influence how safety is embedded into everyday decisions and coach leaders at every level to create a culture where people go home safe every day.

If you’re passionate about safety and have the leadership presence to influence, challenge, and bring people on the journey, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact across a diverse and complex Supply Chain network.

  • Lead investigations, identify improvement opportunities and turn insights into practical solutions that deliver real business impact.
  • Partner with the Oceania SHE team and key stakeholders to continuously enhance systems, training and best practices.
  • Champion supply chain security activities across all sites supporting the Nestle security strategy.

What will make you successful:

  • Proven experience within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • A strong leader who can influence at all levels, driving behavioural change and stronger safety outcomes across the business.
  • Demonstrated experience leading transformation change, moving beyond compliance to build stronger ownership and accountability for safety.
  • The ability to translate complex requirements into practical, business-focused solutions.
  • Strong coaching and communication skills, with the ability to build capability and embed best practice across diverse teams.
  • A passion for safety, with the curiosity to understand the "why" behind risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • The ability to balance operational priorities while keeping safety at the forefront.
  • A growth mindset with strong learning agility, enabling you to quickly build capability and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to travel regularly across Australia and the Oceania region to partner with leaders and teams, delivering training, audits and safety initiatives where they matter most.
  • Experience leading management system audits and working with SHE frameworks, including ISO standards, would be advantageous but is not essential.

Full Australian working rights and applicants may be required to undergo pre-employment checks, including but not limited to health checks, prior to appointment to this role.
