RPA Engineer
Audubon, PA
Position Summary:
The RPA Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robotic process automation (RPA) solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Essential Functions:
- Design, develop, and deploy RPA solutions to automate business processes;
- Integrate RPA with various software applications and existing systems and Oracle database;
- Maintain and troubleshoot RPA platforms, ensuring optimal performance and reliability;
- Configure and manage UiPath Orchestrator for robot deployment, scheduling, and monitoring;
- Conduct thorough testing of developed bots to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional handling;
- Document process workflows, solution designs, and best practices for RPA processes, including technical specifications;
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and assess feasibility;
- Ensure RPA solutions meet performance, security, and compliance requirements;
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in deployed bots and automation workflows;
- Monitor and optimize RPA performance, identifying areas for continuous improvement; and
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in RPA technologies.
- 10-15% domestic travel to client sites required for business visits, client requirement gathering, and new project implementation.
Qualifications:
- Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology and Management, Management Information Systems, or a related field;
- 3 years of experience in a related occupation;
- Experience analyzing and developing cost-effective automated RPA (UiPath) software for resource optimization;
- Experience improving productivity using OCR, VBA, Databases, UiPath Computer Vision, and UiPath Task Capture;
- Experience collaborating with business clients to analyze requirements and recommend design improvements for products;
- Experience conducting user acceptance testing with cross-functional business teams to test products;
- Experience developing strategies and solutions utilizing RPA mythologies;
- Experience setting strategic priorities using Agile (Azure DevOps) and UiPath Automation Hub;
- Experience performing implementation using Agile methodologies;
- Experience building scalable automation workflows using UiPath Studio, including selectors, reusable components, and exception-handling logic;
- Experience translating business requirements into technical automation architecture and workflows;
- Experience participating in the full automation lifecycle, including Requirements gathering, Solution design, Development, Testing and UAT support, and Deployment and production rollout; and
- Experience preparing and maintaining project documentation including Process Design Documents (PDD), Solution Design Documents (SDD), Test scripts and test cases, and Training materials and user guides.
