Roadway Civil Engineering Intern - Summer 2027

Job Description

Overview  

AtkinsRéalis   is seeking a   Roadway Civil Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 to join our Ft Lauderdale, FL office.     

Your Role  

• Provide administrative and operations support to Roads & Highways Engineering staff  

• Collaborate with engineers on Roadway plan production tasks  

• Performs simple drafting and CAD/ORD assignments following detailed instructions  

• Assist  in the compilation of design data and the preparation of construction plans  

About You    

• EXPERIENCE:   No experience is  generally required  if accepted into a Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.  

• EDUCATION :   Must be a Junior pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).  

• SPECIAL SKILLS :    

• Proficiency  in Microsoft Office  

• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or  OpenRoads  Designer (preferred)

Expected compensation range is between   $ 25   -   $ 31   hourly   depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
