Replay - Backend Engineer
Replay: primary source of real, de-identified enterprise data for frontier AI labs; multi-eight-figure run rate; Dumbo, Brooklyn; 14 people, $5.5M (Floodgate, Afore).
Comp: $220K-$300K + equity; up to $10K relocation. Location: On-site 5 days Dumbo, Brooklyn (non-negotiable). Visa: Open to visa transfers; sponsorship only for the right candidates.
Responsibilities
Build/scale multi-stage high-volume pipelines de-identifying enterprise data (Slack, Gmail, Drive, code)
Own backend systems end-to-end incl. correctness and safe recovery
Safe retries, checkpoints, backfills, rollbacks across async orchestration, batch, queues, object storage
Internal tooling/dashboards for pipeline performance and data quality
Work with ML, full-stack, platform, security on new modalities
Tech: Python, AWS, Airflow, AWS Batch, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL

Requirements
3-10 yrs SWE with personal ownership of production backend systems
Ideally strong-name company + early-stage startup; top STEM degree
On-site Brooklyn
