Our team is a collaborative mix of RNs, LNAs, Unit Secretaries, Nursing students, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Case Managers, Quality partners, Medical Students, Residents and Attendings who work together to provide Miller 6 patients with the highest quality care. We have state of the art rooms with beautiful views of the UVM campus and Lake Champlain. Every room is equipped with a ceiling lift and plenty of room for families and space in which to do physical therapy. We primarily treat post-surgical patients including trauma, total hip & knee replacements, hip fractures and spine patients. Nurses are encouraged to grow professionally through Orthopedic specific certifications. Our nurses also have the opportunity to advance through the Clinical Advancement and Recognition Program (CARP).”
