Project Manager
Wachter's greatest asset is the people who work here. Join the Wachter family and chart your career path!
Wachter is accepting applications for Project Manager positions in the Wachter Technology Solutions Project Management department at our Mt. Laurel, NJ office. This is an office-based role focused on the business side of low voltage projects: scheduling, purchasing, billing, permitting, and documentation.
Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience managing or coordinating low voltage technology projects such as structured cabling, access control, CCTV, audio video, and Wi-Fi deployments, ideally in new construction across single and multi-site operations.
We seek self-motivated and reliable candidates who can work independently and find solutions to complete the job. Long-term employment with competitive pay and exceptional benefits for qualified candidates. We value relationships and invest in our employees.
Is This Role a Fit?
- This role is a fit if you have worked on the contractor side of low voltage projects and know how a job moves from bid to closeout: submittals, purchase orders, permits, inspections, and billing. Understanding of project lifecycle of a traditional LV project is a plus!
This role is NOT a fit if your experience is mainly in IT infrastructure or network administration (routing, switching, servers, or help desk), or in project management outside the low voltage and construction industry. Those are valuable skills, but they are not what this position needs.
