Project Manager - Scrum Master

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for leading multiple deliveries, driving the entire project lifecycle from planning and roadmap creation to execution and reporting. This position requires an individual with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects, along with exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Drive a large-scale technology delivery by developing and managing a comprehensive project plan, outlining scope, timelines, resources, and dependencies.
•    Facilitate technical and strategic discussions between architecture, engineering, business, and compliance teams to ensure alignment and drive decisions.
•    Prepare and present various executive-level monthly reports, clearly communicating project progress, risks, and issues.
•    Identify, report, and manage the project’s RAG (Red-Amber-Green) status. Take ownership of challenges, develop mitigation strategies, and define a clear "Path to Green" for any at-risk deliverables.
•    Ensure clear, consistent, and effective communication across all levels of the organization, from individual project team members to senior executive leadership.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

•    Domain Knowledge: Experience within the financial services industry, particularly in Regulatory, Compliance, Surveillance is good to have.
•    Project Management: Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) with a demonstrated ability to create detailed project plans, manage dependencies, and track progress effectively.
•    Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and senior leadership.
•    Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across various functions and seniority levels.
•    Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage project teams in the successful execution of projects using agile methodologies.
2. Act as a scrum master, facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
4. Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
5. Implement change management processes to address any scope changes or project deviations.
6. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile best practices within the project team.
7. Report project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient in agile methodologies and experienced in acting as a scrum master.
2. Solid understanding of project management and change management principles.
3. Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide project teams towards successful project delivery.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members effectively.
5. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a fast paced environment.
6. Problem-solving skills to address project challenges and ensure project objectives are met.

Other Requirements

1.Agile or Scrum Master certification is preferred.
