Production Supervisor

The primary role of Production & Assembly function is to manufacture, assemble and pack products. Key deliverables include, managing the day-to-day production & planning functions for manufacturing whilst supporting changing demands. Programming, set-up, and monitoring of the production equipment/processes and performing assembly operations. Performing Quality control checks of Incoming and finished goods. Ensuring compliance to ResMed’s Quality, OH&S, GMP policies and regulatory requirements.

• The primary objective of Assembly Operation specialization within the Production & Assembly Job Family is to handle complex tasks that require mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge, diagnostics, and troubleshooting skills.
• Key responsibilities include: Well-practiced in various assembly line stations, mechanical tools, and their usage.
• Assembly of components, parts and motor subassemblies.
• Focuses on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives that help achieve orgnisational mission. Implements organization strategies through the effective direction and management of employees and resources.
• Interacts daily with subordinates and other functional groups.
• Interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information.
• Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees, assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals, and maintaining schedules.
• A portion of time is normally spent performing individual tasks related to the unit or sub-unit.
• Generally supervises semi-skilled employees (e.g., assemblers, operators, clerical).

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Requires full knowledge of own area of responsibility and applicable practices and procedures.
• Analyzes data from which answers can be readily obtained.
