Job Description

Wipro Global Procurement. We influence all third-party spend across Wipro and ensure optimum pricing, benefits, and timely delivery of goods and services from suppliers. We collaborate with teams across our Global Business Lines (GBL), Strategic Market Units (SMU), and Corporate Functions to provide competitive and strategic supplier solutions

We influence the business to help enable revenue growth and improve operating margins and cash flows. Our mission is four-fold:

Roles and Requirement:

• Act as a Trusted Business Partner to the internal Business stakeholders.  
• You would be responsible for supporting business in  negotiating best overall value for the organization with the vendors / OEMs.
• Drive global/regional supply strategies for Wipro Customer business across all the Geographies -- Purchasing & Contracting of IT Products & Services , knowledge of software licenses procurement ,  Manpower & data centre Services.
• Knowledge about INCO Terms, taxes & International labor laws and regulations including minimum wages.
• nvolvement in activities like RFP/RFQ, offer receipt, Evaluation of Vendor Packages, Techno-commercial evaluation, Benchmarking, Negotiation, Finalization of order, contracting strategy, release purchase order/work order etc.
• Leverage the spend and deliver annual savings through negotiations and innovative supply strategies
• Empanel best in class suppliers in services procurement area and help them to grow their business with Wipro
• Negotiate contracts and ensure Wipro’s interest are protected in the market place
• Develop & analyze various options and present alternative solutions to sourcing needs.
• Responsible for supplier relationship & performance management, Partner with the business leadership & clients to enable short and long term strategies
• Ensure all the strategies and subsequent procurement are done in accordance with the procurement policy
• Ability to learn new technologies and able to do change management effectively
• Conduct RFPs to determine the right supplier and ensure the best overall value is obtained for the company
• Stakeholder expectation management
• Cross functional collaboration with finance and other functions
