Procurement Manager

Overview Of The Role:

• The Procurement Manager is essential for coordinating category plans, driving process efficiency, and implementing sourcing strategies across Al Futtaim Group Business Units. They oversee significant annual spend, ensuring that procurement processes are strategic and effective. Success factors include strong stakeholder partnerships, process improvement, and efficient contract management, alongside building robust supplier relationships to maximize value.

What You Will Do:

General

• Coordinate category plans, process efficiency, sourcing initiatives, and tactics across Al Futtaim Group Business Units.
• Lead category sourcing activities including execution of RFI/RFP/RFQ, supplier communications, evaluation criteria development, supplier selection, and negotiation strategy design.
• Drive cross-functional negotiations, align stakeholders, and apply supplier risk analysis to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Build and manage strong supplier relationships to maximize quality, cost, service levels, risk management, sustainability, and innovation.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring accurate vendor records with pre-qualifications, lead times, and development potential.
• Manage contracts end-to-end, including drafting, negotiating, and integrating terms, conditions, KPIs, and SLAs into agreements.
• Ensure process efficiency and continuous improvement aligned with procurement strategy.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders to support seamless procurement operations.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to complete operational and strategic tasks as required.
• Generate and update management reports accurately and timely.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Any Procurement or Finance Certification is an added value.
• More than 7 years of progressive procurement experience, especially in Facility Management, Fit-out works, MEP projects, and service-related categories.
• Experience with procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa, and e-auction tools.
