Job Summary

As a Practice Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a physician practice or small multi-site practice, ensuring efficient workflows, engaged staff, and a high standard of service for patients and providers alike.
What You'll Do
Lead and support administrative and clinical support staff across one or more practice locations.
Manage staffing schedules, identify coverage needs, and coordinate replacements to ensure smooth daily operations.
Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop team members while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.
Monitor performance, conduct evaluations, and support employee growth through training and mentoring.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements, organizational policies, and mandatory training standards.
Improve practice operations by evaluating workflows, implementing process improvements, and monitoring key performance metrics.
Partner with practice leadership on budgeting, payroll oversight, and operational planning.
Support patient billing and revenue cycle activities to ensure adherence to established procedures.
What You'll Bring
5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare, medical practice, or similar operational environment.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage staffing, and support employee development.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working with operational metrics, budgets, payroll, and administrative processes.
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Education Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes Licenses and Credentials Experience Supervisory experience 5-7 years required and Experience working in a healthcare environment 5-7 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, including Excel. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Strong and proven leadership skills. - Ability to work with staff of all levels. - Excellent time management skills. - Strong analytical and math skills. - Knowledge of Accounting Principles, physician billing, and revenue cycle management. - Ability to adapt to multiple and rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
