Photo Lab Operator Parttime
We are looking for a motivated and organized person to operate the Lomography's photo lab at our Vienna HQ:
operate the minilab (film development, scanning, image processing, printing)
Prepare films for partnerlab processing
research technical lab questions (equipment manuals, process and film specifications)
suggest improvements to lab workflows
clean and service the minilab and scanning equipment, including routine maintenance according to manufacturer instructions
communicate with service technicians
monitor stock of lab consumables
check incoming films
upload scans to the LomoLAB backend
assist with other tasks during slow periods, such as film and development tests, hand-spooling film and repairs
Requirements
basic knowledge of analogue photography
manual dexterity in handling film
detail-oriented and independent working style
willingness to learn
communicative
