Periodontist - Thorncliffe Dental

On-site Toronto, Canada part time

Specialist Opportunity | Periodontics | Growing In-House Program

About the Opportunity

Thorncliffe Dental Centre is seeking a qualified Periodontist to join our well-established Toronto practice on an in-house specialist basis. With over 40 years serving the community and a multi-generational patient base, this is a fantastic opportunity to build and grow a thriving in-house periodontal program with a consistent and reliable internal referral base.

  • 6 active dentists providing consistent internal referrals
  • Robust hygiene program actively generating perio cases
  • Fully equipped with Nobel Biocare implant kits, surgical motor, and restorative kits — ready for immediate onboarding

Schedule

  • 1 day per month initially (Monday or Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Flexible scheduling with strong potential to grow based on demand

Who This Role Is Ideal For

  • Certified Periodontist — new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Confident working independently in a GP referral environment
  • Strong communicator who collaborates effectively with multiple providers
  • Specialist interested in building and growing an in-house perio program over time

About You:

  • Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
  • Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
  • Valid CPR certification
