Seeking a Pediatric Fellowship Trained or Pediatric Board Certified Anesthesiologist for Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital a community based non-for-profit health organization. At Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital, more than 27,000 outpatient and inpatient surgeries are performed each year. The hospital has served the people of central Virginia since 1966, with a focus on delivering compassionate healthcare of the highest quality. In 2008, St. Mary’s was the first community hospital in Richmond to earn the Magnet Recognition for nursing excellence from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Our practice provides anesthesia services for over 44,000 cases a year and consists of 25 physicians and over 70 CRNAs covering two hospitals in the Richmond area, both with high levels of acuity. Our care team model means we focus on ensuring everyone has a voice while supporting, respecting, and helping deliver excellence in care.

Total Rewards

Salary: $500K

Sign-on Incentive: $100K

Call: Mix of general in-house call and home peds call - $10K Per Week for Peds Call

Case Assignments

• Mix of Adult and Pediatric cases, General Anesthesia, OB, Ortho

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures

• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent

• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients

• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and performing interventions as needed

• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine

• Fellowship Trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology

• ECFMG and FLEX

• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia

• Currently licensed as a physician
