Job Description

• Perform interior and exterior painting of guest rooms, public areas, offices, and back-of-house facilities.

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers.

• Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and finishes using appropriate tools and techniques.

• Touch up paintwork as needed to maintain a high standard of appearance.

• Repair minor plaster, drywall, and surface defects before painting.

• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete assigned work orders on time.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of painting materials and chemicals.

• Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.

• Coordinate with the Engineering team to minimize disruption to guests and hotel operations.

• Report any maintenance issues beyond painting to the Engineering Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Painter, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.

• Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good attention to detail and time management skills.

• Basic understanding of safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Physically fit and able to work at heights when required.
