Job Description

Oracle E-Business P2P Functional Consultant

YOU MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR IRISH SECURITY CLEARANCE.

Are you an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite Procure-to-Pay consultant who enjoys transforming business processes and delivering meaningful change?

We're looking for a talented Oracle EBS P2P Functional Consultant to join a major ERP transformation programme, helping to redesign and optimise procurement operations within Oracle EBS 12.2.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a large-scale business change initiative, partnering with stakeholders to modernise processes, enhance user experience and maximise the value of Oracle E-Business Suite.

If you're passionate about procurement transformation, stakeholder engagement and delivering practical Oracle solutions that solve real business challenges, we'd love to hear from you.

The Opportunity

As a key member of the ERP programme team, you'll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand current procurement processes and design future-state Oracle EBS solutions that improve efficiency, control and user adoption.

You'll facilitate workshops, challenge existing ways of working, identify opportunities for improvement and help shape a modern, streamlined Procure-to-Pay landscape.

What You'll Be Doing

You will:

  • Lead workshops with business users and stakeholders to understand current procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Analyse existing Procure-to-Pay workflows and map requirements to Oracle EBS 12.2 functionality.
  • Drive process mapping, process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities to enhance procurement performance and user experience.
  • Develop functional solutions across Oracle Procurement and P2P modules.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, solution designs and ERP landscape artefacts.
  • Support solution testing, user acceptance testing and defect resolution activities.
  • Deliver user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Provide functional expertise during deployment, go-live and post-implementation support.
  • Advise stakeholders on best practice, solution options, risks and dependencies.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

You will have:

  • Strong Oracle EBS Procure-to-Pay functional consulting experience.
  • Expertise across Oracle Purchasing, Procurement, Self-Service Procurement (iProcurement), Inventory and wider P2P processes.
  • Proven experience delivering Oracle EBS implementations, upgrades or transformation programmes.
  • Strong workshop facilitation, business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
  • Experience producing process maps, solution designs and gap analysis documentation.
  • Ability to engage confidently with business stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience supporting testing, training and business change activities.
  • At least 7 years' Oracle consulting experience.
  • Minimum of two Oracle EBS implementation, upgrade or migration projects.

Desirable Experience

You will have:

  • Understanding of Oracle Financials modules and their integration with P2P processes.
  • Experience using BI Publisher and OBIEE reporting solutions.
  • Oracle certifications.
  • PRINCE2, PMP or similar project delivery certifications.
  • Previous experience within Local Government, Central Government or the wider Public Sector.
  • Experience working within large, complex transformation programmes.

Why Join?

This role offers the opportunity to have a genuine impact on how procurement services are delivered across a large organisation.

You'll work alongside experienced Oracle professionals, business leaders and programme stakeholders, helping to shape future processes and drive tangible business improvements.

You'll be joining a high-profile transformation programme where your expertise will influence solution design, operational efficiency and long-term business outcomes.

If you're an Oracle EBS P2P Consultant looking for your next challenge and want to play a key role in a significant Oracle transformation programme, we'd love to hear from you.
