Operator II Night shift 12 hours
JOB SUMMARY
Advance operator that can be assigned to and work center in the facility and successfully operate the equipment
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform the duties of the Operator position which include but not limited to:
-Visually monitor the molding process to ensure proper procedure, pack parts from injection molding and assembly machines and inspect general product quality and packaging to ensure they meet specifications.
· Ability to change and stock materials at the machine (bags, daily supplies, etc.)
· Employee will work in concert with the Operator III ensuring safe and efficient production.
· Employee will read, comprehend, and maintain the operating policies and procedures of the company as well as the requirements specified by FDA, OSHA, and other governmental agencies.
· Employee will read and comprehend instructions and written procedures.
· Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
· Other responsibilities may be assigned from time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position..
· Fosters teamwork within the company: Develops and maintains good working relationships with all departments.
· Completes all required training as assigned
· Conducts all job functions in a safe manner
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing role in a similar industry/environment.
· Ability to spend long hours walking and standing
· Must have familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices as well as current Work Instruction and Product Specifications.
· Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs
· Ability to work well with others at all levels
· Experience in the use of scale, tape gun and pallet jack.
· Communicate verbally and in writing with a good command of the English language
· Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), SAP and e-mail skills preferred
