Operations Manager

• The Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of store operations, focusing on the management of the back of house, including delivery processes, maintaining productive standards, and efficient replenishment practices. The role requires organizing the stockroom, managing deliveries, supporting loss prevention efforts, and working closely with the commercial team to ensure the smooth running of store operations. The Operations Manager also plays a critical role in training, development, compliance, and health and safety.

Store Operations

• Responsible for the stockroom organization, including standards, layout, and efficiency.
• Manage and oversee the complete delivery process across multiple sections and react to unexpected circumstances as necessary.
• Responsible for RFID operations and associated devices, ensuring good practices and routines.
• Plan stockroom initiatives to address and solve capacity issues.
• Manage delivery productivity to meet company targets.
• Support the management team with security to minimize stock loss and develop action plans accordingly.
• Ensure ZARA Online storage in-store is well-organized.

Team Management

• Create team schedules to optimize coverage across all store sections.
• Participate in performance reviews for employees.
• Recognize potential operation talents and communicate with store manager, HR for further development.
• Develop training plans to improve operational skills according to career development plans.

Compliance and Standards

• Ensure adequate resources for compliance across all store areas, maintaining thorough knowledge of compliance issues.
• Keep employees informed and updated on SOPs.
• Conduct store self-assessment audits and review internal audit reports, devising action plans with management to ensure delivery of actions.

Health & Safety

• Maintain good housekeeping throughout all store areas.
• Communicate with senior management about any accidents and ensure awareness of employee and customer safety risks.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven capability in planning and executing operational initiatives.
• Ability to develop and maintain operational standards and compliance.

• At least 5 years of experience in retail operations management.
• Proficiency in managing the full training cycle, including conducting in-person activities.
• Ability to motivate employees to achieve sales quotas effectively.
• Demonstrated strong leadership and team management skills.
