OJT Instructors – Oil & Gas Production Facilities (CPF / FPF)

We are currently seeking experienced On-the-Job Training (OJT) Instructors to deliver technical training to local Chadian personnel responsible for operating and maintaining oilfield surface production facilities (CPF / FPF).

Job Description

As an On-the-Job Training (OJT) Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering technical training and transferring operational knowledge to local Chadian personnel involved in the operation and maintenance of oilfield surface production facilities, including Central Processing Facilities (CPF) and Field Processing Facilities (FPF).

You will combine theoretical instruction with hands-on training to develop participants' technical knowledge, practical skills and ability to operate and maintain production equipment safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training sessions covering the operation and maintenance of oilfield surface production facilities (CPF / FPF).
• Explain equipment operating principles, technical systems and production processes.
• Provide practical, hands-on instruction on equipment operation, inspection and maintenance procedures.
• Train personnel on safety management regulations, operational safety procedures and incident prevention.
• Use real-life incident case studies to illustrate operational risks, troubleshooting methods and lessons learned.
• Provide guidance on preventive maintenance practices, equipment reliability and technical troubleshooting.
• Assess trainees' technical understanding and practical competencies throughout the training sessions.
• Adapt training methods and technical explanations to participants' experience and skill levels.
• Ensure effective knowledge transfer and promote safe working practices in daily operations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Expertise

• Strong experience in oilfield production facilities, particularly in CPF / FPF operations and maintenance.
• Solid technical expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation.
• Proven knowledge of equipment operation, preventive maintenance, HSE procedures and technical troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver practical technical training to local operators and maintenance technicians.
• Previous experience in On-the-Job Training (OJT), technical instruction or coaching is highly desirable.
• Previous international experience, particularly in Africa, would be an advantage.

• International flights and travel arrangements will be managed by IOTA Group.
• Immediate availability or availability at short notice is required.
• Assignment duration: 7–15 days, representing a total of 30 man-days.
