Manager, Global Fats Expert

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and innovative fats expert to lead the global fats portfolio and drive breakthrough product innovation within our cacao coatings and fillings business. This role serves as the technical expert on fats and oils, combining deep scientific expertise with strong project leadership to deliver impactful innovations across regions.

The successful candidate will collaborate with diverse teams globally to translate market and customer needs into differentiated ingredient solutions while ensuring the effective management and continuous advancement of the company's fats and oil portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Manage global fats and oil portfolio and support product innovation across the global (60%)

• Responsible for the fats portfolio across the global
• Use the product expertise to support product innovation activities across the global
• An experienced product expert in ingredients used in coating & filling, with a specific focus on fats
• Good knowledge in confectionery fats formulation and application.
• Good business acumen in global markets (such as APAC, WEU, NAM)
• Good understanding of consumer and customer centric design of product innovation in a B2B business environment

Lead & deliver global projects on fats (40%)

• Lead & deliver global innovation projects on fats on time in full
• Engage cross-region and cross-functional teams to provide required support to deliver the global projects
• Plan and manage required resources to deliver the innovation projects

About You:

• Minimal university degree, preferable master or PhD degree, in the discipline of food science or chemistry, or equivalent.
• Minimal 7-10 years of experience in a relevant role
• Fluent in English. A second language is a plus.
• Able to travel, estimated 10% of the time
