Role Summary & Purpose :

The Manager EHS is responsible for executing Global EOHS Strategies at the Sri City facility to ensure full compliance with Local Regulations and Colgate Standards. This role provides visible leadership in driving the Operational Excellence system and delivering consistent, superior environmental, health, and safety performance. The position focuses on shaping a safe working environment, managing cross-functional collaborations , and overseeing risk mitigation across all plant operations. 

Key Responsibilities :

Drive Operational Excellence: Provide EOHS technical expertise and visible leadership to implement site-wide safety strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Hazard & Incident Management: Conduct safety audits to identify workplace hazards, investigate incidents/near-misses, perform root-cause analysis, and codify key lessons learned to prevent recurrence.

• Statutory Compliance & Liaisoning: Ensure absolute compliance with all current and future regulations, laws, and corporate safety policies while liaising with external health and safety authorities.

• Training & Capability Building: Educate, train, and evaluate the facility’s workforce and designated workplace safety or first aid officers to ensure adherence to health and safety standards.

• Management of Change (MOC) & Engineering: Participate actively in design teams for key engineering projects, optimize factory layouts, and provide formal EOHS sign-off on all Management of Change projects.

• Performance Tracking & Reporting: Establish local KPIs, maintain data integrity within global databases, track trends, and periodically report progress to all facility employees.

Requied Qualifications : 

• Education: BE / B.Tech or M.Tech. in a technical or EOHS field.

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional experience in EOHS, Supply Chain, R&D, and/or related technical experience.

• Certifications: Certified EOHS Manager / Engineer / Auditor.

• Technical Core: Proven functional competency in EOHS site-wide implementation and technical expertise in at least one core area of EOHS
