Lead Treasury Specialist - Treasury Operations
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Banking Execution: Partner to evolve the global banking footprint. Lead the assessment of business needs (M&A, market expansion) to determine optimal account structures and vet new banking partners.
End-to-End Due Diligence: Own the rigorous vetting and documentation lifecycle. Conduct "due diligence" reviews for all new requests, validating strategic necessity and cost-efficiency. Manage the "zero-flow" analysis for account closures, certifying that exit plans are risk-free and compliant prior to termination
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary interface between Treasury and internal/external partners (Legal, Tax, Compliance, and Banking Partners). Facilitate alignment on complex account decisions, provide proactive project updates, and manage escalations to ensure business objectives remain on track.
Risk Governance & Controls: Serve as a steward for signer management, DOA, and SOD compliance. Ensure all banking activities meet strict regulatory, audit, and enterprise policy standards.
Governance & Control Oversight: Ensure strict adherence to internal Delegation of Authority (DOA) and Segregation of Duties (SOD) matrices. Maintain enterprise compliance with global KYC/AML regulatory standards and internal signatory management.
Transformation & Performance: Apply Lean methodologies to drive process redesign and system migrations. Utilize KPI’s and dashboard reporting to track functional performance, providing clear, data driven insights into risks, bottlenecks, and efficiency gains.
Qualifications
· Experience: 7+ years in Treasury, Banking Strategy, or financial operations.
· Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of bank account governance, KYC/AML frameworks, and the full lifecycle of due diligence (opening, modification, and closure).
· Influence & Collaboration: Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and influence cross-functional teams to achieve consensus.
· Continuous Improvement: Strong track record of implementing Lean/Kaizen practices to drive process efficiency.
· Analytical Leadership: Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Visio) and executive-level reporting.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree, CTP, or CPA preferred.
