As part of our Software Delivery organization, you'll work across Engineering, Product, and customer-facing teams to drive informed decisions and effective coordination. We're looking for someone with sound judgment, exceptional organizational skills, and the curiosity to challenge existing practices and make software delivery simpler, safer, and more efficient.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead release readiness reviews, challenge unresolved risks, and ensure approval requirements are met.
- Co-lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB) as a regional champion, driving risk-based decisions and consistent change governance.
- Coordinate release readiness across multiple product lines, ensuring dependencies, documentation, and communications are addressed.
- Coordinate customer-specific software updates by validating scheduling data, identifying inconsistencies, and confirming dependencies with accountable teams.
- Deliver clear, timely communications to customers and internal stakeholders regarding releases and planned updates.
- Facilitate alignment between Support, Product, and Engineering on customer-impacting defect priorities and their implications for upcoming releases.
- Challenge existing release workflows and drive measurable improvements in delivery reliability and efficiency.
- Partner with Engineering and AI enablement teams to identify automation opportunities, define requirements, and validate solutions that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 9–12 years of relevant experience in software release management, software engineering, product delivery, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated success independently coordinating complex software releases or production delivery across multiple product teams and organizations.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), CI/CD pipelines, software testing, deployment workflows, and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience with Change Advisory Boards (CAB), production change approvals, and higher-risk changes, including risk assessment and mitigation.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions, engage technical experts, and drive decisions and accountability across teams.
- Strong analytical skills with experience validating operational data, identifying inconsistencies, and managing competing schedules and priorities.
- Demonstrated success challenging existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and driving measurable operational improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey release risks, changes, and impacts to technical teams, customers, and executive leadership.
Preferred
- Experience with progressive delivery, phased rollouts, artifact promotion, or cell-based architectures.
- Experience with automated release controls, quality gates, or deployment governance.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows, MCP integrations, or process automation.
- Knowledge of DORA metrics and software delivery performance measurement.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Experience in financial technology, digital banking, or regulated SaaS environments.
