Lead Positive Employee Relations Specialist
Jabil is seeking a Lead Positive Employee Relations Specialist to work in our Corporate Headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL.
How will you make an impact?
As a Lead Positive Employee Relations Specialist with Jabil, you will be responsible for fostering a positive and productive work environment through proactive employee relations strategies, effective conflict resolution, and the development and implementation of best practices that promote employee engagement and satisfaction.
What will you do?
- Develop, implement, and manage proactive employee relations programs and initiatives designed to enhance employee morale, engagement, and retention.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee grievances, workplace disputes, and sensitive employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations and recommending appropriate resolutions.
- Collaborate with HR business partners, legal counsel, and management to ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and legal compliance in all employee relations matters.
- Provide expert guidance and coaching to managers and supervisors on effective communication, performance management, conflict resolution, and employee development.
- Analyze employee feedback, conduct pulse surveys, and identify trends to proactively address potential issues and recommend improvements to HR policies and practices.
- Lead training sessions and workshops for employees and management on topics such as conflict resolution, harassment prevention, diversity and inclusion, and positive workplace behaviors.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of employee relations cases and resolutions, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Stay informed of current employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices in employee relations to ensure Jabil's compliance and competitiveness.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Jabil's overall HR strategy, ensuring alignment with positive employee relations principles.

How will you get here?
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources,
- At least 3 years specializing in employee relations roles, preferably in a manufacturing or global organization.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex employee relations issues, including investigations, mediations, and disciplinary actions.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations (e.g., NLRA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII).
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and active listening skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
