Lead Consultant(Development)

Job Summary

The consultant is expected to have strong expertise in the Workato Integration Platform and leverage this knowledge to assess, design, build, and support enterprise integrations as part of the POT migration program. The individual/team will analyze the current integration landscape, evaluate existing interfaces, and recommend scalable, maintainable, and supportable integration solutions using Workato's automation and integration capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

The scope includes, but is not limited to:

1. Requirement Gathering & Impact Assessment

   • Analyze business and technical requirements arising from the migration from GV to SuccessFactors (SF).
   • Assess impacts on existing integrations, data flows, and downstream systems.

2. Integration Design & Development

   • Design, build, and enhance Workato recipes, workflows, connectors, and orchestration processes.
   • Implement integration changes for inbound and outbound interfaces involving UKG, SuccessFactors, and other enterprise applications.

3. Data Mapping & Transformation

   • Analyze and implement source-to-target mapping changes.
   • Develop and maintain transformation logic, lookup tables, and data enrichment rules within Workato to support evolving business requirements.

1. Integration Logic Enhancement

   • Review existing integration workflows and redesign logic as needed to support organizational, process, or source-system changes.
   • Ensure integrations adhere to enterprise architecture, security, and performance standards.

2. Time & Payroll Integration Support

   • Review and enhance timecard export processes and payroll-related integrations.
   • Validate pay code mappings and assess downstream impacts across connected systems.

3. Reporting & Data Validation Support

   • Assess and support integration-related reporting requirements impacted by business or organizational changes.
   • Validate data consistency and integrity across systems.

4. Migration & Modernization Activities

   • Support migration initiatives, including transitioning legacy integration components, interfaces, and reference tables to modernized Workato-based solutions.
   • Analyze current-state integrations and recommend optimization opportunities.

5. Testing & Quality Assurance

   • Create and execute SIT test cases for integration workflows, mappings, transformations, exports, and validations.
   • Perform end-to-end integration testing and support data reconciliation activities.

6. UAT & Production Support

   • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
   • Ensure successful deployment and post-production stabilization of integration solutions.

7. Stakeholder Collaboration

   • Work closely with business stakeholders, HR, payroll teams, UKG teams, and other application owners to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation.
   • Facilitate integration design discussions and provide technical recommendations.

8. Documentation & Governance

   • Maintain detailed technical documentation, integration specifications, mapping documents, test evidence, and operational runbooks.
   • Ensure all integration deliverables comply with governance, audit, and security requirements.

Skill Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Workato Integration Platform.
• Strong understanding of API-led integrations, REST/SOAP services, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience integrating SuccessFactors, UKG, HR, Payroll, and enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of data mapping, transformation, error handling, and integration monitoring.
• Experience with integration testing, SIT/UAT support, and production deployments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in complex migration and transformation programs.
