What You Will Do:


  • Own and execute the strategic roadmap for the JD Edwards (JDE) platform, driving upgrades, modernization initiatives, and long-term platform sustainability.
  • Lead the administration and lifecycle management of JDE environments, ensuring seamless operations across development, testing, production, and disaster recovery landscapes.
  • Establish and enforce platform governance, standards, and best practices for deployments, change management, access controls, monitoring, and operational excellence.
  • Partner with business leaders, application teams, infrastructure, cybersecurity, quality, and compliance stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable JDE solutions.
  • Oversee the successful planning and execution of platform enhancements, releases, upgrades, and maintenance activities while ensuring adherence to governance and quality standards.
  • Drive platform stability and performance through proactive monitoring, optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage JDE operational components including integrations, batch processing, security roles, menu structures, scheduler management, and application configuration.
  • Govern vendor and managed service provider relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery, effective issue resolution, and achievement of performance commitments.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to prioritize demand, assess business impact, manage dependencies, and align release activities with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance by maintaining robust controls, documentation, traceability, and support for SOX, GxP, privacy, security, and financial requirements.

What you will need:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT, ERP platforms, application operations, infrastructure management, or related technology environments.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering, supporting, or leading JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) in a complex production environment.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams, managed service providers, vendors, or cross-functional delivery teams to successfully execute platform initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in JDE platform administration, with hands-on experience across areas such as CNC administration, environment management, package builds, security, tools releases, ESUs, integrations, scheduling, and production support.
  • Demonstrated success delivering JDE upgrades, tools releases, environment builds, production deployments, or major ERP platform transformation initiatives.
  • Experience operating within regulated or controlled environments, including SOX, GxP, ITGC, cybersecurity, privacy, audit, or validated change management frameworks.
  • Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to govern service delivery, manage escalations, drive accountability, and influence outcomes across global teams.
  • Expertise in developing operational documentation, runbooks, implementation plans, support procedures, and governance artifacts while effectively communicating platform risks, health, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Relevant certifications in JD Edwards, Oracle, ITIL, project management, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or quality/compliance disciplines are highly desirable.
