Job Descriptio n

The successful candidate will work within an exciting, fast-paced and growing Operations & Corporate Shared Services environment. The International Settlements team is responsible for the clearance and settlement of securities. We provide securities execution, clearance, and risk management services to retail, institutional and correspondent clients. The role requires critical thinking, strong attention to detail, ability to work in a time sensitive environment, and the ability to "think outside of the box."


The Expertise and Skills You Brin g

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business or related discipline.
  • 0+ years of experience, (Up to 2 years within financial services and/or a shared service model preferably).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook (not required but preferable)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with team members and clients, confident in communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced processing & customer service environment.
  • Demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving, an ability to make independent decisions based on understanding of associated processes & risks.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong, self-motivated individual able to work individually and as part of a team towards deadlines in a dynamic environment with competing demands.
  • Ability to work towards achieving individual/team quality and accuracy standards while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to learn new processes in a timely manner and contribute to improving existing processes.

The Value You Deliver

  • Use SWIFT, SHADOSUITE, Euroclear, and Citibank for Securities to process and settle trades in Global markets.
  • Review and monitor the clearance of all current and aged International Broker to Broker and DVP/RVP trades.
  • Identify and resolve Firm exposure relating to International Uncleared trades.
  • Process International TOA settlements.
  • Be analytical and possess good problem-solving skills.
  • Be motivated and show desire to learn about the business and innovative technologies.
  • Be reasonably flexible regarding working hours/shift.

The International Settlements Team is a part of Operations and Services Group (OSG), a division of Fidelity Wealth. The Ireland International Settlements team supports over 40 markets and 20 currencies globally, performing various functions and addressing any issues related to the clearance and the settlement of securities such as Settlement Processing, Client Service and TOA processing.
