Sysco LABS Sri Lanka delivers the technology that powers Sysco’s end-to-end operations. Sysco LABS’ enterprise technology is present in the end-to-end foodservice journey, enabling the sourcing of food products, merchandising, storage and warehouse operations, order placement and pricing algorithms, the delivery of food and supplies to Sysco’s global network and the in-restaurant dining experience of the end-customer.   

Responsibilities:  

• Design ing   scalable,   robust   and cost-effective solutions, in collaboration   with   the senior engineering staff  

• Implement ing   solutions based on the design, adhering to engineering best practices ,   C ontinuous Integration and   C ontinuous Delivery  

• Writ ing   unit, integration, and functional tests for the solutions  

• Work ing   collaboratively in a cross functional team environment  

• Adher ing   to DevOps principles and   being   involve d   with projects   during   their full software lifecycle from development, QA, and deployment  

Requirements:  

• Soun d   knowledge   of   Object-Oriented   Programming using Java  

• Soun d knowledge   of   the fundamentals of JavaScript   

• A basic working   proficiency   of   RDBMS technolog y  

• Knowledge   of   NodeJS   would be an added advantage
