Key Responsibilities

In this role you are required to:

• Support monthly executive reporting and management updates across SATS' Ground Handling, Cargo, and Food Solutions businesses through industry research, market monitoring, and analysis of industry and operational data trends.
• Monitor aviation, air cargo, and aviation catering market developments, to consolidate industry and competitor intelligence.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Ground Handling and Cargo performance Power BI dashboards owned by Insights team and Data team.
• Support strategic benchmarking or business intelligence projects for internal stakeholders across global markets in industry/market research and data analysis.
• Spearhead productivity enhancement projects, including automating existing data extraction and analytical workflows.
  
  At the end of the internship, the intern will:
• Establish good insights, data and research acuityBuild insight-based knowledge and research techniques
• Develop practical skills in data visualization, dashboarding, and working with large, complex datasets
• Gain exposure to regional and global business operations and market dynamics, and cross-industry trends across Ground Handling, Cargo, and Food Solutions.
• Hands-on involvement in business intelligence and data-driven decision-making through real-world market intelligence projects
  
  This role is based at SATS Global Innovation Hub office at Arts House Annex (central area). 

Key Requirements

You are best equipped for this role if you have: 

• Preferably candidate graduating from the Business / Marketing / Research / Data Analytics field of study
• Must be proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Power BI will be beneficial
• Appreciation of data and analytics, market research techniques and principles
• Comfortable working with large data sets, trends and other multi-data sources
• Strong project management capabilities
• Hands-on, technical & analytical mindset
• Good interpersonal skills, communication, team player
• Naturally curious with an innovation mindset, trends savvy, attention to detail, willingness to work in a highly networked environment with the aim to learn & apply
