- Maintain a regular campus cadence covering room readiness, rack and pathway availability, power, labelling, housekeeping, access controls, remediation needs and operational risks.
- Coordinate regional coverage and continuity with the East and West Interconnection & MMR Managers, including vacation, escalation and surge support.
Cross-connect and interconnection delivery
- Validate cross-connect requests for technical completeness, carrier readiness, authorized pathways, available capacity and required agreements before work begins.
- Lead planning, execution oversight and closure for fiber, copper and coaxial cross-connects, including customer/carrier coordination, testing confirmation and record updates.
- Coordinate inter-building connectivity and complex routing requests with the appropriate engineering, construction and operations stakeholders.
- Support timely delivery against established service commitments when the carrier is provisioned and all prerequisites are satisfied.
Access, change and security coordination
- Coordinate MMR access requests with Security and Site Operations and ensure requests follow the approved ServiceNow and site-access processes.
- Confirm that carrier and vendor personnel have the required approvals, work plans, MOPs/CMOPs, escorts and change records before entering controlled areas or performing work.
- Maintain auditable access and activity records and support periodic reviews of access compliance and exceptions.
MMR readiness, remediation and standards
- Identify and drive remediation for legacy and new-site issues involving rack layouts, A/B power, cable management, labelling, pathways, capacity and carrier equipment placement.
- Participate early in design, construction, turnover and site-acceptance reviews so MMR requirements are validated before ready-for-service handoff.
- Apply and improve standard MMR design and installation requirements, escalating deviations and documenting agreed exceptions.
- Coordinate vendors and internal teams through implementation, inspection, punch-list closure and final operational acceptance.
Carrier, customer and commercial support
- Serve as a regional technical and operational point of contact for carriers, ISPs, cloud providers, enterprise customers and internal Customer Experience teams.
- Partner with the Carrier Relationship Manager and Legal on carrier onboarding and Carrier Service Agreement dependencies, while keeping operational execution moving through the proper controls.
- Provide technical input for customer and carrier discussions, escalations, scope validation, deployment sequencing and site-specific interconnection options.
- Support accurate capture of billable cross-connect and MMR services and provide required operational evidence to commercial and Finance partners.
Documentation, capacity and systems
- Maintain accurate records for requests, LOAs, circuit and cross-connect identifiers, rack/port assignments, carrier equipment, pathways, capacity, diagrams, agreements and completion evidence.
- Use ServiceNow, DCIM/Sunbird, SharePoint and approved tracking tools as designated systems of record; identify data-quality gaps and drive correction.
- Monitor MMR rack, port, pathway and power capacity and recommend upgrades before constraints affect delivery.
- Produce concise status reporting on demand, backlog, ageing, readiness, remediation, access compliance, capacity risks and escalations.
Incident, escalation and continuous improvement
- Coordinate diagnosis and resolution of MMR and interconnection issues with carriers, Site Operations, Network/IT teams, Security and vendors.
- Lead or support time-sensitive customer and carrier escalations, establish owners and recovery actions, and maintain clear stakeholder communications.
