Infrastructure Operations Coordinator

Purpose of the role  

The role holder coordinates infrastructure and cloud operational activity, acting as the administrative and commercial hub between infrastructure teams, data-centre operations and customer-facing stakeholders. They own the processes that keep infrastructure spend, supplier relationships, hardware lifecycle and licensing compliance under control, while supporting other project work.  

Scope  

• Coordination of infrastructure and cloud operational activity across infrastructure teams, data-centre operations and customer-facing stakeholders.  

• Ownership of the processes governing infrastructure spend, supplier relationships, hardware lifecycle and licensing compliance.  

• Support for customer project activities.  

• Project administration in JSM for Infrastructure and Cloud Operations  

Key responsibilities  

• Coordinate project activity, planning, scheduling, execution, and outcome reporting with relevant teams and stakeholders.  

• Track migration and transformation projects, monitoring progress and commitments against delivery timelines.  

Skills, knowledge & experience  

Essential  

• Experience in IT infrastructure or cloud operations administration/coordination.  

• Familiarity with Jira Service Management (JSM) or equivalent ITSM tooling.  

• Experience with procurement, PO coding and invoicing processes.  

• Working knowledge of commercial reporting  

• Strong organisational and communication skills, coordinating across technical, customer-facing and commercial teams, and across time zones with UK-based colleagues.
