Implementation Engineer
Imagine having the power to stress-test an entire power grid against a hurricane or thunderstorm before the clouds even gather. That is the reality we are creating at Neara.
We use advanced machine learning to create engineering-grade, physics enabled digital twins of electricity grids across four continents, this helps asset owners understand their biggest challenges and bring the most viable solutions to life across millions of kilometres of infrastructure.
By simulating extreme weather and structural stress at a network-wide scale, we empower the world’s largest utilities to pinpoint risks, optimise investments and build a more resilient global energy future.
Our team is a collection of brilliant minds who are fanatical about making a tangible difference in the real world, utilising AI and machine learning to accelerate everything from data classification to complex scenario analysis. We have built a special culture where innovation thrives because everyone owns the mission and we need smart, creative people to help us scale this impact to every corner of the globe.
As an Implementation Engineer, you will be part of the India team to own key delivery functions, collaborating closely with our team in Europe and existing offshore teams in India. You will also work closely with our entire delivery team and interact with our Australia and US departments (product, sales and development teams).
As an Implementation Engineer, once you become an expert on the Neara platform, you will get heavily involved in key projects that will drive actionable insights for our clients. You can expect strong collaboration with the European team to ensure project quality and timely delivery. You will also have the opportunity to improve and automate our processes along the way.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Configuring projects and ensuring the integration of our system for utility/geospatial clients
Build reports and dashboards for effective data analytics and tracking, and ensure Neara’s system is adapted to the client’s requirements.
Conceiving efficient workflows for delivery projects with a focus on automation, ensuring efficient handling of large datasets.
Identifying and prioritising improvements that would enhance the project’s speed by partnering with engineering and product teams.
Detecting inaccuracies in the digital twin and reconfiguring the automodelling and dependencies to GIS, LiDAR or other non-spatial databases available to enhance reliability in the related reports.
Analysing client requests or issues (specific to delivery/presales projects) and identifying new innovative opportunities for that implementation project.
Providing mentorship and training to new members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill refinement.
Reporting on project status to internal stakeholders, regional and international leadership.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
A bachelor in Electrical / Geospatial / Computer Science or any other relevant Engineering degree with 1-5+ years of experience
Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
Comfort working with spatial/mapping tools and 2D/3D data, with the reasoning and critical thinking
