About the Role

FronteraCare is expanding into Southern California through the acquisition of an established ABA practice in the San Diego area. We're looking for a dedicated BCBA to join this team as we bring FronteraCare's technology-enabled model of care into this market.

You'll join an existing practice with an established team, client base, and community presence. This is a hybrid role based within commutable distance of Chula Vista, CA, combining in-person and telehealth care as we integrate our clinical technology and grow our footprint in the region.

We're looking for someone who is a strong clinician first, and who is also energized by the opportunity to be part of a growing organization, adopt new tools, and help shape what technology-enabled ABA care looks like as this market evolves. You'll work alongside the practice's clinical leadership team and connect into FronteraCare's broader clinical, operational, and technology teams.

What You'll Do

• Conduct behavior or functional analytic assessment processes
• Develop case supervision and clinical management plans
• Develop and implement ABA Treatment Plans
• Consult with Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) or Behavior Technicians (BT) regarding client and family concerns
• Select appropriate stimulus materials and treatment modalities for the age and ability of the person served
• Include the client and family in setting treatment goals, and train families on specific treatment strategies and carryover skills
• Give clear, concise instructions when presenting materials and techniques in therapy
• Record and track daily progress for clients and families accurately
• Utilize session time efficiently to meet treatment objectives
• Provide accurate and immediate feedback to clients and families
• Plan for discharge of the person served
• Support the transition into FronteraCare's clinical model, including adoption of Frontera's assessment, documentation, and data tools
• Provide candid, practical feedback on new tools and workflows as the practice integrates with FronteraCare

What We're Looking For

• Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB, with at least 3 years of certification
• Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field
• General knowledge and experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Four or more years of experience working with a pediatric population
• Four or more years of experience in an applied setting participating in functional assessments and analyses, and the development, implementation, and ongoing oversight of behavior plans
• Proficient computer skills in Excel, database management, and record keeping
• Effective oral and written communication
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
• High level of confidentiality and excellent organizational skills
• Bilingual, able to deliver services and communicate with families in both Spanish and English
• Openness to adopting new clinical technology and workflows as the practice transitions into FronteraCare
• Comfort operating through a period of organizational change

Location

This is a hybrid role requiring presence within commutable distance of Chula Vista, CA. This clinician will spend regular time in person with clients, families, and the local team, alongside telehealth service delivery.

We have determined a salary range for this position that takes into account several factors including experience, knowledge, education, skills, and abilities. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline and the exact salary will be determined based on the individual’s qualifications and experience, with consideration given to the factors listed above. All full-time employee benefits include health benefits, 401(k) plan, and PTO per year.
