Group Manager – Global Mobility & Business Travel Compliance

Life on the team
Our Global Mobility function is evolving, with an expansion of its remit to establish and lead Business Travel Compliance globally and shape how Computacenter moves talent around the world. Part of our Group Reward function, as Group Manager – Global Mobility & Business Travel Compliance you’ll lead a specialist team and build a modern, people-centred mobility service that enables colleagues to take up activities across borders with confidence. You’ll work with senior leaders and partners across HR, Finance, Legal, Risk and the business to balance an excellent employee experience with pace, cost control and compliance.

What you'll do

  • Set the global mobility strategy, operating model and governance, creating clear ownership and scalable ways of working.
  • Own the global business travel compliance framework, working with Tax, Legal, HR and Travel to embed clear responsibilities, pre-travel assessments, controls and escalation routes.
  • Lead the rollout and adoption of business travel compliance tooling, supported by practical guidance, communications and education for travellers, managers and local teams. Embed compliant ways of working and use reporting to monitor adoption and address gaps, alongside wider mobility automation, self-service and secure data management.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Global Mobility team and a worldwide network of local contacts.
  • Modernise policies and employee journeys across assignments, relocations, repatriations and permanent transfers.
  • Enable rapid, informed deployment of critical skills by advising on cost, risk, visas, lead times and location options.
  • Oversee international tax, social security, immigration, posted worker and permanent establishment compliance across both Global Mobility and cross-boarder business travel.
  • Manage specialist vendors, budgets, contracts, service levels and performance, using insight to improve value and outcomes.

What you'll need

  • Significant progressive experience in Global Mobility, including corporate leadership or senior advisory responsibility.
  • Practical experience of mobility & compliance technology, automation, data governance, analytics and reporting.
  • A strong record of leading people, setting direction and developing specialist capability.
  • Experience of developing or leading business travel compliance frameworks and managing immigration, tax, social security, posted worker and wider cross-border compliance risks is strongly desirable.
  • Experience designing and improving mobility policies, governance, operating models and end-to-end employee journeys.
  • Commercial strength across vendors, budgets, contracts, KPIs and SLAs.
  • Confidence influencing senior and executive stakeholders and turning complex risk into clear business choices.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent senior-level Global Mobility experience; professional accreditation and global transformation experience would be an advantage.
