Goods in Operative

Goods In Operative – Corrib Foods, Galway

BWG Foods are currently recruiting for a Goods In Operative on a Permanent Full-Time basis in Corrib Foods, Galway.

Duties Include:

·        Replenish the chill and frozen storage areas.

·        Checking-in chill and frozen deliveries into the Depot.

·        Ensuring all required paperwork and administration is completed and up to date.  

·        Stock management

·        Ensuring compliance with all Food Safety and HACCP requirements.

·        Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Security requirement.

·        Attend monthly briefings/meetings.

·        Process stock returns, damaged stock and out of date products.

·        Ensure all areas maintained and clean and tidy at all times.

·        Assist customers.

·        Other associated duties as requested by your manager.

·        Required to operate in various temperature environments: ambient, chilled, and frozen

·        Have good organisational and time management abilities.

·        Be proactive.

·        Be a highly motivated individual, who takes initiative with minimal supervision.

·        Have a good working knowledge of HACCP.

·        Be motivated and enthusiastic.

·        Be dedicated and flexible.

·        Have the ability to project a professional image at all times.

·        Have experience working in a warehouse and/or goods-in environment.

·        Experience operating a reach forklift, along with a current and valid operator’s certificate, is highly desirable

·        Must be comfortable working in ambient, refrigerated, and freezer environment
