Generalist, People Team

About the Role:

We are looking for a high-potential and hands-on HR Generalist to join our APAC People team.

Reporting directly to the Head of People BU APAC, this role will support the delivery of HR initiatives and day-to-day people operations across the region. The position will work closely with employees across different APAC markets, providing broad HR support across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HR Business Support & Operations

  • Partner with the line manager, to support day-to-day HR operations across APAC markets.
  • Coordinate with local HR teams, external vendors and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant HR operations.
  • Handle and support HR reporting and people analytics for
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience, and operational efficiency.

2. Talent Acquisition

  • Lead and support end-to-end recruitment activities for regional key positions, from workforce planning and sourcing through to offer management and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business requirements and develop appropriate recruitment strategies.
  • Manage candidate sourcing, interviewing, assessment and selection processes.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for key and critical positions.
  • Support employer branding and recruitment initiatives to strengthen the company's talent attraction capability.
  • Enlarge the sourcing channels, and work with external recruitment agencies and other talent partners where required.

3. Talent Development & Performance Management

  • Support the line manager, in implementing regional talent development and talent management initiatives.
  • Coordinate learning and development programs based on business and employee needs.
  • Support talent review, succession planning and high-potential talent identification.
  • Assist in designing and implementing career development initiatives and employee development plans.
  • Work closely with local People team, support the annual performance management cycle and provide guidance to managers and employees.
  • Track and analyze key talent development activities and their effectiveness.

4. Compensation & Benefits

  • Support regional C&B activities, including salary reviews, bonus processes, benefits administration, connect and work closely with global CoE team.
  • Support to review/update/implement C&B projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive compensation information.

5. HR Projects & Regional Initiatives

  • Support the Head of People, APAC, in regional and global HR projects.
  • Participate in organizational development, employee engagement, culture and change management initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards and analysis to support management decision-making.
  • Support the rollout of global HR initiatives across APAC and ensure appropriate local execution.
  • Take ownership of ad-hoc HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required.


Requirements:

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or Engineering.
  • 5–8 years of relevant HR experience, ideally gained in a regional, multinational or fast-paced business environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Talent Acquisition and Talent Development.
  • Solid working knowledge and experience in Compensation & Benefits and HR operations.
  • Experience supporting multiple countries or markets is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with senior business leaders is an advantage.
  • Exposure to employee relations and performance management is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong HR generalist capability with the ability to work across multiple HR disciplines.
  • Strong Talent Acquisition skills with the ability to understand business needs and identify quality talent.
  • Good understanding of talent development, performance management and succession planning.
  • Solid understanding of C&B principles and HR processes.
  • Active listening and strong communication skills
  • Good business acumen and the ability to connect people initiatives with business priorities.
  • Strong data analytical and problem-solving skills, experience in applying AI tool is a plus.
  • Professional in office and business intelligent tools, PPT, excel, Power BI etc.
  • Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with regional teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong sense of ownership, confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Excellent English communication skills; Mandarin is an advantage.
