Full-stack Developer with DevOps

Position Overview

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong DevOps skills to join the Limits and Approvals squad within the Credit Risk Fleet and contribute to the strategic Limit Modernization initiative.

The Credit Risk Fleet is executing a multi-year modernization agenda while supporting and continuously expanding business-critical credit exposure and credit review processes.

Limit Modernization is a strategic program prioritized by the Chief Credit Officer, aiming to significantly improve the efficiency of day-to-day limit management, limit monitoring, and continuous credit review processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Full Stack applications using Java
• Design and develop backend and frontend components
• Build and enhance modern web applications
• Develop APIs and service-oriented applications
• Work with relational databases
• Support and improve CI/CD processes
• Contribute throughout the full Software Development Lifecycle
• Support software testing, release management, monitoring, and operational activities
• Promote DevOps practices and automation
• Collaborate closely with engineers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders
• Contribute to the modernization of Credit Risk and Limit Management systems

 

Required Technical Skills

Backend Development – Must Have

• Strong Java development experience
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar
• Solid understanding of API and service-oriented application development

Frontend Development

• Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Experience building modern web applications
• React experience is a plus

Data Technologies

• Practical experience with relational databases
• MongoDB experience is a plus

DevOps & Software Delivery

• Strong understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tooling, particularly Jenkins
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Understanding of software quality, testing, release management, monitoring, and operational support
• Strong DevOps mindset

Additional Information

• Cloud platform experience is not currently required
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams is beneficial
• Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential due to the globally distributed nature of the team
