Freelance Research Nurse – Home Visits

Location: Alkmaar Area, Netherlands

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to support patients participating in a clinical research study through scheduled home visits in the Alkmaar area.

• Frequency: Approximately one visit per patient every 2 weeks
• Visit duration: Approximately 3–5 hours, depending on visit type
• Key skills: Strong IV/infusion experience and phlebotomy

The role

You will independently conduct scheduled visits in the patient’s home. Responsibilities may include:

• Administration of IV study medication / infusions
• Post infusion observation
• Recording vital signs and monitoring the patient
• Blood draws at specific visits
• Review and reporting of adverse events
• Accurate completion of study documentation

What we are looking for

• Registered Nurse
• Strong IV/infusion experience
• Clinical Research Experience an advantage
• Confident performing blood draws/phlebotomy
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality documentation
• Excellent IT skills to autonomously use various systems and platforms
• Comfortable working independently in a home setting
• Fluent Dutch and good English skill

Previous experience in clinical research and or home nursing is highly desirable.
