Position: FP&A Manager, Beauty

Work Location: Boston, MA, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)

What you will be doing:
The Finance Manager serves as a commercial finance business partner for our Beauty Division and cross-functional teams. This role supports profitable growth through forecasting, planning, analysis, and decision support; translates business trends into clear financial insights; and helps identify risks, opportunities, and actions that improve business performance.
- Support forecasts, annual plans, risks, and opportunities, KPI reporting, variance analysis, and corrective-action tracking across revenue, margin, expenses, working capital, inventory, trade spend, and marketing investment.
- Partner with brand and cross-functional teams to translate business priorities into financial plans, evaluate business cases, and support commercial and operational decisions.
- Oversee growth management supports profitability, pricing, gross-to-net, trade spending, promotional ROI, mix, customer planning, and investment analysis across customers, SKUs, channels, categories, and brands.
- Analyze POS, market share, category trends, distribution, pricing, assortment, and competitive insights to connect marketplace performance to financial results.
- Support capital planning, margins, cost inflation, productivity, freight, sourcing alternatives, inventory, E&O, service levels, S&OP inputs, and forecast accuracy to support margin and working-capital initiatives.
- Support cross-functional initiatives, process improvements, financial acumen, and decision discipline through clear analysis and communication.
- Supports analysis and recommendations for pricing, trade investment, customer funding, marketing spending, innovation, portfolio choices, inventory, sourcing alternatives, and capital requests.
- Provides fact-based insights to support forecast commitments, financial performance, and near-term business decisions.
- Financial forecasting of budgets, long-range plans, profit data, salaries/wages, customer pricing, trade terms, product cost, quotes, strategic business plans, acquisition/licensing assessments, litigation or legal matters, and other proprietary company information.
- Travel as needed for business reviews, customer meetings, manufacturing/supplier visits, or leadership meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or related field.
- 1+ year experience as a Finance Manager or 3+ years as a Sr. Financial Analyst.
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience.
- Ability to travel -10% for business reviews, customer meetings, manufacturing/supplier visits, or leadership meetings.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA and/or MBA.
- Experience with customer/channel/SKU profitability, pricing, revenue growth management, trade spending, POS analytics, market-share insights, demand planning, inventory, and working capital.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Oracle/SAP, OneStream, BI/data visualization tools, and retailer/POS data sources such as Circana, Nielsen, or retailer portals.
In Massachusetts, the standard base pay range for this role is $95,843.29 - $119,804.11 annually. This base pay range is specific to Massachusetts and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
