Founding Engineer
About the Role
Join an early-stage AI/ML company as a founding engineer, working closely with the co-founders to build its product and technical foundation. The team turns real-world company data into datasets that help AI agents handle complex work.
What You'll Do
Architect and build core product infrastructure and systems.
Make technical decisions that establish the engineering foundation.
Collaborate with the co-founders on product strategy and the roadmap.
Contribute across full-stack development, DevOps, and system design as needed.
Help mentor and hire engineers as the team grows.
What We're Looking For
At least 5 years of experience building and shipping production software systems.
Experience designing and implementing backend or full-stack systems at scale.
Strong fundamentals in at least one backend programming language and experience with modern web frameworks.
Comfort with full-stack development and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or similar.
A track record of shipping quickly, making pragmatic technical trade-offs, and communicating effectively in a small, collaborative team.
