Foundation Testing Engineer

We are currently expanding our ENGINEERING SERVICES and are looking for a Foundation Testing Engineer to join our growing team and help deliver high-quality projects to our clients

Job Description

- Processing and preparing reports for Pile Static Load Tests (Maintained Load Tests) 

- Producing visual/structural inspection drawings using CAD software 

- Input and manage Geotechnical Investigation (GI) data for UK-based projects using OpenGround software; 

- Process logs of borehole samples, trial pits, and field tests (e.g. gas/water monitoring, permeability testing , DCP, CPT); 

- Interpreting Ferroscan (Hilti software), GPR Data Processing (Geolitix/Radan) 

Qualifications

- Previous experience in working within a construction related environment; Knowledge of geotechnical processes. 

- Excellent AutoCAD skills. Good IT skills - Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook, …), Knowledge of VBA and Macros would be an advantage 

- Experience in processing raw survey data and producing reports based on pile testing data. Experience in GPR and FerroScan data processing would be an advantage. 

- Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of people.  

- Excellent attention to detail to produce accurate work and ability to check drawings/models put together by the site team.   

- Good use of your initiative; Self-motivated and enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team. 

- Excellent time management skills with an emphasis on delivery and meeting delivery schedules.
