Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day fleet operations, ensuring vehicles and couriers are available, safe, and road-ready.
  • Manage and support a team of drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies and performance standards.
  • Plan and monitor delivery schedules, routes, and vehicle assignments to maximize utilization and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all vehicles comply with safety, insurance, and licensing regulations.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team or external workshops for preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Monitor driver performance, route efficiency.
  • Handle incidents, accidents, and emergency breakdowns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate fleet documentation and prepare regular reports on performance, expenses, and utilization.
  • Collaborate with operations, logistics, and procurement teams to support business needs.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in fleet supervision or transportation management, ideally within a logistics or distribution environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance, road safety, and logistics operations.
  • Proficient in fleet management software and MS Office tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and respond to operational emergencies.
