Export Logistics Lead (Chisinau, Moldova)
Key Responsibilities
- Managing regular dispatches of security systems from regional distribution centers (RDCs) to customers and authorized distributors worldwide (EU, UK, US, MEA, APAC, LatAm).
- Coordinating logistics operations between manufacturing facilities and global distribution centers.
- Maintaining target SLAs and performance metrics: OTIF (On-Time In-Full), Order Lead Time, and cargo integrity in transit.
- Coordinating export procedures from the EU customs territory via Polish customs systems (AES/ECS2, NCTS, PUESC services).
- Collaborating with customs brokers and agencies: preparing full document sets (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, EUR.1, ATR, Export Declaration / IE-599 confirmation message).
- Managing electronics shipment compliance: classification by HS/CN codes, export control rules, and adherence to dangerous goods regulations for built-in lithium-ion/lithium-metal batteries (ADR / IATA DGR). 3. 3PL/4PL & Carrier Management
- Managing contracts and relationships with international line-haul carriers (Road FTL/LTL, Air Freight) and express integrators (DHL, FedEx, UPS).
- Conducting regular KPI performance audits and managing claims for cargo loss or damage (Claims Management).
- Participating in freight procurement tenders to optimize transport costs from the Polish distribution hub.
- Tracking and optimizing the cost per unit delivered.
- Streamlining freight consolidation to balance cost and delivery speed across diverse geographic regions. 5. Distribution Center Operations Alignment
- Aligning dispatch schedules with the warehouse/WMS team (dispatch windows, truck loading time slots, order picking/packing control).
- Implementing and supporting BPM 4.0 initiatives: cargo tracking automation (Real-time Visibility), carrier EDI/API integrations, and eliminating manual document processing.
- Formulating contingency plans and alternative routing during border blockades, carrier peak seasons, and geopolitical disruptions.

Candidate Requirements

3–5+ years in export or distribution logistics originating from Poland/EU (preference for Consumer Electronics, High-Tech, IoT, Automotive, or global FMCG).

Practical experience managing multimodal shipments (cross-border road freight, air cargo, courier express).

Advanced mastery of Incoterms 2020 (specifically DAP, DPU, CPT, FCA, DDP).

Comprehensive understanding of EU customs regulations (Union Customs Code / Unijny Kodeks Celny), intra-Community supplies (WDT), and exports to third countries.

Working knowledge of transport regulations for battery-powered devices (Lithium Batteries Section II / ADR / IATA DGR).

English: Upper-Intermediate / Advanced (B2+) — professional correspondence, commercial negotiations, and resolving operational escalations with global partners.

Ukrainian/russian: Native / Fluent.

Advanced MS Excel proficiency (Power Query, Pivot Tables, financial/cost modeling) and BI tools (Power BI / Tableau).

Practical experience working in ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalents), modern WMS/TMS solutions, and Jira/Confluence.

Practical application of Lean principles (eliminating transportation waste, idle time, and over-processing).
