Ex-Founder / Ex-CTO

About the Role

This is a founding-team seat at an early-stage AI infrastructure startup building the operating layer for AI-native service businesses. The scope is deliberately open: engineering leadership, product ownership, or running the operating side of the company, shaped around what you do best. If you can articulate what you would own in your first 90 days, this role can be built around that.

What You'll Do

• Define and own your first-90-day scope across engineering, product, or operations, depending on your strengths.

• Take a technical leadership seat and help set the direction of a platform serving the next generation of AI-native service companies.

• Work in a small, high-trust team moving at high speed with minimal process overhead.

• Help shape the culture and operating model of the company from day one.

What We're Looking For

• Founded a venture-backed or bootstrapped company, regardless of outcome.

• Served as CTO or first technical hire at a startup, or shipped a product a team still credits you for.

• Alternatively, ran a service business in a vertical that AI workforce tools are replacing.

• Can articulate a clear, concrete first-90-days plan and wants a role built around their strengths rather than a fixed job description.

• Willing to relocate to San Francisco (relocation support provided).

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation and equity are sized for someone building the company alongside the founding team, not joining as a later hire. Specific numbers are shared on the first call. Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are available.

Location

On-site. Primary base is Munich, Germany, with presence also in San Francisco, London, and Vienna. Relocation to San Francisco is a requirement, and full relocation and visa support are provided.
