Embedded C Firmware Developer

Your Role

As a Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and sustaining embedded software solutions for industrial and electronic products. You will work across the complete firmware development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, debugging, integration, testing, and product sustenance. The role requires strong expertise in embedded software development, low-level device drivers, microcontroller programming, RTOS, communication protocols, and root-cause analysis.

In this role, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain firmware for production products and product enhancements.
Perform technical investigations, anomaly replication, debugging, and root cause analysis of field and customer-reported issues.
Analyze system-level symptoms and identify probable firmware and hardware root causes.
Conduct impact assessments for software enhancements, hardware revisions, and design modifications.
Create functional requirements and technical specifications for derivative products.
Collaborate with hardware teams to evaluate design alternatives, component obsolescence, and cost-optimized solutions.
Develop low-level drivers, firmware modules, and embedded software components.
Execute unit testing, integration testing, and system validation activities.

Your Profile
Strong experience in Embedded C, Assembly Programming, and Object-Oriented C++.
Hands-on experience with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers.
Expertise in low-level driver development and hardware-oriented firmware design.
Experience working with digital and analog hardware interfaces.
Strong understanding of embedded software architecture and design patterns.
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as VxWorks, ThreadX, Quadros, or similar.
Experience implementing communication protocols such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, USB, Wi-Fi, CAN, and Profibus.
