Your Role

As a Junior SAP FICO Consultant, you will support the design, configuration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) solutions. Working alongside experienced consultants, you will gain hands-on exposure to SAP projects while building your expertise in financial processes, ERP systems, and business transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about learning, eager to grow their SAP knowledge, and motivated to develop a long-term consulting career.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Support SAP FICO implementation, enhancement, and application support projects under the guidance of senior consultants
• Participate in SAP FI and CO configuration activities while applying SAP standard best practices
• Assist in requirements gathering sessions, workshops, testing activities, and client engagements to gain practical consulting experience
• Support test execution, defect tracking, data validation, and go-live preparation activities
• Learn and support integration processes between SAP FICO and other modules, including SAP MM and SAP SD
• Create and maintain business process documentation, configuration documentation, training materials, and project deliverables
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to support project objectives and customer requirements
• Adhere to project methodologies, governance standards, quality processes, and delivery expectations
• Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives, internal training programs, and SAP certification paths
• Develop an understanding of automation capabilities, emerging technologies, and AI-enabled business solutions
• Actively seek feedback, apply continuous improvement practices, and contribute positively to team success
• Support onsite and remote project activities as required by business and client needs

Job Description

Application Consultants understand the client business process, current and future, and map it to the technologies being used, giving a demarcation of what can be achieved through a standard implementation and what would need customizations or extensions to be done to the application. They may functionally customize the application, partner with application developers to design application enhancements and extensions, and work with business users to implement process changes.

Focus must be provided on building solutions and on maintaining, optimizing and improving a clients applications and systems. Develop your knowledge in a business andoror industry domain and a Saas or Package Based solution. One can contribute to a business and technical blueprint and customize the respective Software Package Module. Application Consultant is responsible for unit testing, contribute to integration testing, andoror be responsible for the design and delivery of end user training. Certification: Certification on Saas or Package Based solution and relevant methodology, as available

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• 0–3 years of experience in SAP, ERP systems, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related business applications
• Strong foundational understanding of finance, accounting, and business processes
• Interest in developing expertise in SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in multicultural environments
• Intermediate English proficiency (B1–B2) or higher
• SAP training, certifications, internships, or academic exposure to ERP systems are considered a plus
• Demonstrated willingness to learn, receive coaching, and continuously develop new skills
• Flexibility to work onsite, remotely, or travel when project requirements demand
